Our Solution
Bouygues Energies & Services led the design and build of the Enfield mission critical facility, delivering world-class connectivity with access to high speed, resilient networks. The Enfield data centre is a single storey facility, with 9 self-contained collocation Data Halls, comprising 7360m2 including 32270m2 of net technical space. The facility is served by resilient 8mw 11kV diverse feeds from the Nation Grid and key features of the data centre include bespoke power deployments available to meet in excess of 2kW per square, including a design PUE rating of less than 1.5. In keeping with the client’s high-level security and resilience needs, the completed building incorporates many industry-leading features, including centralized N+N in line UPS plant, N+1 HV standby diesel generator, N+1 CRAC units and dual A&B UPS supplies, with 10 minutes autonomy at full load, plus associated advanced alarms and monitoring systems.
Holistic Approach
A single point of accountability for the design and development of the data centre, delivered on a highly fast track basis.
Energy Efficiency
The data centre is designed to achieve BREEAM “Good” standard and maximises utilisation of renewable energy sources. The facility deploys cooling solutions supplied by intelligent free cooling chillers.
Flexible Solutions
The London 1 data centre offers clients a varied range of choice in deployment of IT solutions, from single rack or cabinet in a shared space, to a bespoke data centre suite with dedicated power and cooling. The range of power density solutions available reaches up to 15kW per cabinet without in-row cooling.
